The story.

We may all be able to name an interesting or innovative school in our region, but what do we know about what it takes to build those schools? How do we fund them? What can students, parents, and educators expect? What kind of support do they need? Can we replicate them? How about leadership? And, most importantly: do students benefit?

As a doctoral student, I got interested in answering those questions, and wound up documenting the story of one local district trying three unique approaches to public school. You can read more here and here.
