I’m an educator, parent, or community member who’d like to see more student-centered schooling models in my own area. Where do I start?

Start with the people doing the work, and then talk to someone in your own district about what you’ve learned! One Thousand Steps tells the story of just one school district, but the movement toward progressive, student-centered public schooling models is national. The list below is in no way comprehensive, but it’s a great place to start.
